Robert excellent themes... Now one question about the English translation of transfert. Some say transference and I noticed you say transfer. Can some of you enlighten me? Jacques
Rebonjour Jacques, I think the German ?bertrangung is never defined precisely to the extent the ??ber? is left out, which would be more like Ur-Transfer in English. Thus, whether translated as transfer or transference in English, the tendency is to always confuse the transfer with its effects, as a projection onto the person, and not as a cause ? as ?bertrangung. In any case, this simple problem should be clarified not only in English but French. Second, I am not sure my posts are going through on the list again. I do not see my questions/themes registered on it. Let me know. Until then, SRobert ps - there are about 6-8 people at PLACE that are interested in this problem and have informed them of your list-serve in case they care to participate on it.
