Clinical Topology Workshop - 12 September
English-speaking Friends and Colleagues, We will continue our special sessions of the Clinical Topology Workshop on Saturday, _September 12th_, at _6 P.M. CEST_/_12 P.M. EST_/_9 A.M. PST_. Following the previous session, which covered several movements in the formalism of Jacques Lacan, beginning with Freud's /Letter 52/ to Fliess, we will pick up our discussion with an investigation of the geometry of the /projective plane/, the /R/ and /I schemas/, the object /a/, and the /cross-cap/. The session is open to all /via/ Zoom and is free of charge. A reminder with an enclosed Zoom link will be sent out the day before. Since the aim of this workshop is to introduce these concepts in psychoanalytic topology to non-mathematicians, we invite any and all questions regarding these structures that might make them legible, practical, or understood. This approach will be the engine of our seminar as we motor towards a clinical vantage on neurotic and psychotic structures.
